WindNOW! is a specialist in the field of maintenance and repair of onshore wind turbines. We are an international team with our head office located in Berlin, Germany. To further consolidate and strengthen our WindNOW! field teams in Sweden we are looking for qualified Wind Turbine Technicians to be located at our Service Center in Oskarström, or surroundings. We are open to discuss freelance agreements.
Essential Responsibilities
- Working independently on the implementation of fault analyses and repair of wind turbines (trouble shooting)
- Planned and preventive maintenance of wind turbines
- Documentation of fault finding and repair work in service reports and checklists
Essential Skills and Requirements
- Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system engineer, mechatronic engineer)
- Wind business experience in GE-units is a must
- High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding, and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects
- Experience in trouble shooting GE2.X turbines is a plus
- Familiarity with PLCs & with MS Office operating system
- Fluency in English language, Swedish a plus
- Prepared to travel and willing to work sometimes also on the weekends.
- Class B driving license
- EU Work Permit, Swedish residency or work permit for Sweden
